There is a jar, brimming with liquid
stood a glass, longing with thirst
Tilting the jar, with graceful mind
Filling the glass, with thankful heart
Thirst and yearn, no more with glass
Both flowing into jar, ah oh alas!

ஒரு வெற்றுக் குவளை
ஜாடிக்குள் புகுந்துவிட்டது
ஜாடி சரித்து
குவளையை நிரப்பிய
வெற்றுக்குவளையின் தாகமும் வெறுமையும்
