God saved my shoulders!

Carrying a heavy laptop is a pain.
Carrying a heavy laptop daily is a pain.
Carrying a heavy laptop daily to one customer place is a pain.
Carrying a heavy laptop daily to more than one customer place is a pain.

Today is an interesting thing happened.

I put my laptop as a remote serving machine, used a low cost, low end, light weight windows tablet. I was able to finish a customer presentation without any problem.
God saved my shoulders!

This is T100 tablet from Asus, which comes with full Windows 8.1 OS (not windows RT).
For specs – You can see the following link

Asus T100

The device is connected to wired ethernet via usb to ethernet adapter & it is connected to VGA projector via micro hdmi to VGA Connector

I got this in vaikaasi thallupadi(!!) in BEST market in Singapore. They have a portal DVD Drive for free.

Asus gives MS office 2013 Home edition and 1 year Trend Micro antivirus for free!
Good Deal!

Being a tablet with docking (docking with an additional harddisk), the battery backup time is considerbly higher. 8 to 10 hrs.

The device is in action!

  • Micro HDMI to VGA adapter (Separate cable I bought from Sim Lim Sq)
  • Wired/Wireless Mouse
  • USB Drive (16 GB) and USB Harddrive (1 TB)
